Electrochromic displays are made by layering super thin conductive ink on top of each other, like sandwich layers. When an electrical charge is applied to our electrochromic displays, they undergo a chemical transformation known as oxidation and reduction, resulting in colour changes. By precisely adjusting the ink composition, we can control these colour shifts with remarkable accuracy. These layers are incredibly thin, around 200 micrometres, and are also flexible, making them ideal for integration into a wide range of slim and compact devices.
